Babb's Bridge is located on the Presumpscot River and connects North Gorham with Windham.
The original bridge was named after a family that lived nearby and was built in 1943. It was destroyed due to arson in 1973. The Babb’s Bridge we have today was reconstructed in 1976 to resemble the first bridge. Repairs were made in 2014 to protect and preserve the structure.
At Babb’s Bridge you can rope swing, kayak, canoe, swim or just enjoy the beautiful Maine scenery. Babb’s Bridge is one of many Gorham landmarks that make our community a wonderful place to live.
