Ballots will be mailed to registered Maine voters who request them, starting on October 2, and will be mailed out to these voters on a rolling basis through the end of October. The deadline to request your ballot is 5pm on Thursday, October 29; however, you are advised to make your request online as soon as possible.

Ballots cast at home can be returned to your Town Clerk in one of three ways:

  1. By mail, using the return envelope provided AND affixing proper postage;

  2. By drop box, using the secure drop box that is immediately outside the front door of the municipal center; or,

  3. By hand delivery to the Town Clerk, stopping by the office during posted business hours or dropping off your ballot at your polling location on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3 by the time polls close at 8pm.

For your early absentee ballot to be counted you MUST:

  1. Use the return envelope provided, no matter how you’re returning your ballot;

  2. Sign your name on the back of the envelope where indicated; and,

  3. Return your ballot to the Town Clerk by 8pm on Election Day.

If you haven’t mailed your ballot back by October 30, please hand deliver it to the Town Clerk to ensure that it is counted.
